Answer

World Urbanization Prospects (United Nations) includes a table showing "Population of urban agglomerations with 750,00 inhabitants or more, 1950-2025".

For more sources of city data, see the Urban Issues and Cities page on the Library's Int'l Development Research Guide.

For help researching a particular city, please contact a SAIS Research Librarian in person Monday - Friday 9 - 5, by phone 202-663-5900, or via email.
