Answer

Use of the SAIS Mason Library is limited to individuals with a valid Johns Hopkins University ID card or a valid Library visitor pass. A visitor's pass may be obtained if you are a:

JHU alumnus

Spouse / registered domestic partner / dependent of SAIS students, faculty or staff

JHU retiree

Due to our size and space limitations, access requires an official Johns Hopkins affiliation. Current Hopkins students will be given priority over alumni and other library guests. In-library privileges may be limited based on availability of space (seating) and resources.

Questions about access, including obtaining a Visitor Pass, may be directed to saislibrary@jhu.edu. You can also call 202-663-5900 between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Additional questions about access may be directed to Associate Director Stephen Sears at 202-663-5907
