Answer

Online full text of NYT (though not always with the page images):

Lexis/Nexis Academic (1980 – present)

ProQuest New York Times (1980 – present)
ProQuest Historical New York Times
(from 1851)

The current print edition is available in the Library on reserve,
with previous editions (as space permits) in the Newspaper Room
on the 8th floor.

Those wishing to pay for an online subscription can:

Discount subscriptions to the New York Times (digital, print or both) are offered to current Hopkins affiliates. Note that you must have a jhu.edu email address to qualify. More information
