Answer

STATA is available with SAIS Cloud Apps Access

The Citrix receiver provides access to SAIS applications and network drives from your personal PC, Mac, or Linux.

Cloud apps include:

STATA

Onbase

MSOffice

Note that Cloud Apps require the Citrix client, which can be downloaded here.  For more information please see: installing Citrix on a MAC, installing Citrix on a PC, Citrix troubleshooting/FAQs

You may need also to add https://cloudapps.johnshopkins.edu/ and https://login.johnshopkins.edu/ as trusted sites in your browser’s security settings.

Apps can then be accessed through the web portal at https://my.jh.edu/portal/web/jhupub.

STATA is also available on the workstations in the Economics Lab in the Bernstein-Offit Building (BOB), Room 750. If you have trouble, contact saishelp@jhu.edu, or call the SAIS IT Service Desk at 202-663-5666.
