Q. Where can I find statistics on trade in goods or services between individual countries?

Answer

International Trade Centre is a good place to begin. Coverage begins in 2000 or 2001.

For more detailed breakdowns, and earlier years (back to 1962), try UN Comtrade. For a "cheat sheet" illustrating a sample search, see the attached file.

For OECD countries, go to OECD iLibrary, select Statistics and look for "Statistics on International Trade in Services" or "International Trade by Commodity Statistics".

For links to additional sources, see the Trade & Commodities page of the SAIS Library's Statistics guide
